Sao Thổ, hay Thổ Tinh là hành tinh thứ sáu tính theo khoảng cách trung bình từ Mặt Trời và là hành tinh lớn thứ hai về đường kính cũng như khối lượng, sau Sao Mộc trong hệ Mặt Trời. Tên tiếng Anh của hành tinh mang tên thần Saturn trong thần thoại La Mã, ký hiệu thiên văn của hành tinh là thể hiện cái liềm của thần.
UNSPECIFIED – JULY 03: A series of images captured by Cassini on 6 October 2004 were composed into the largest, most detailed, global natural-colour view of Saturn and its rings ever made. The mosaic consists of 126 images acquired in a tile-like fashion, covering one end of Saturn’s rings to the other and the entire planet in between. The images were taken over the course of two hours while Cassini was approximately 6.3 million kilometres from Saturn. Three images (red, green and blue) were taken of each of 42 locations across the planet, and the full colour images were put together to produce a mosaic that is 8,888 pixels across and 4,544 pixels tall.
